Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking a detail-oriented and education-savvy E-Learning Content Reviewer to join our dynamic remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating, proofreading, and validating digital learning materials across various subjects and formats. Your contributions will directly impact the quality of online courses delivered to students and professionals around the world. Key Responsibilities

  • Review and validate e-learning modules, video scripts, quizzes, and study materials for grammatical accuracy, formatting, clarity, and instructional design alignment.

  • Cross-check content with source guidelines, curriculum standards, and subject matter requirements.

  • Provide constructive feedback to instructional designers and content creators to enhance course effectiveness.

  • Ensure adherence to accessibility standards and inclusive learning practices.

  • Identify inconsistencies, factual errors, and outdated references in content.

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs), editors, and project coordinators to meet quality assurance benchmarks.

  • Track, document, and report any content revisions or issues using internal tools and checklists.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Excellent command of written English with strong grammar and editing skills.

  • Proficiency in content proofreading, instructional design standards, and digital document formatting.

  • Strong attention to detail with a methodical approach to reviewing educational content.

  • Familiarity with e-learning platforms such as Moodle, Blackboard, or LMS tools is an advantage.

  • Ability to review large volumes of content efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.

  • Basic understanding of HTML, SCORM, or interactive digital learning elements is a plus.

Experience

  • Bachelors degree in English, Education, Instructional Design, Communications, or related fields.

  • 1-2 years of experience in content editing, academic proofreading, e-learning QA, or curriculum review.
