Job Summary

Progressive Technology is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Podcast Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in managing the end-to-end podcast publishing workflow, including scheduling, editing coordination, and distribution across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate will have a passion for podcasting, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for quality control to ensure timely and seamless delivery of content. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the complete podcast publishing cycle from content receipt to scheduling and distribution.

  • Coordinate with podcast hosts, producers, and editors to ensure episodes are produced and delivered on time.

  • Schedule episodes for publication on various platforms including Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, and others.

  • Monitor podcast analytics and reports to optimize reach and engagement.

  • Maintain and update podcast calendars, ensuring consistency and adherence to deadlines.

  • Handle basic audio editing tasks and quality checks where necessary.

  • Assist in the creation of show notes, episode descriptions, and relevant metadata for SEO optimization.

  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to podcast uploading and platform integration.

  • Collaborate with marketing and social media teams to promote episodes effectively.

  • Stay updated on podcast industry trends, tools, and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience in podcast production, scheduling, or publishing.

  • Strong understanding of podcast platforms, RSS feeds, and distribution processes.

  • Familiarity with audio editing software (e.g., Audacity, Adobe Audition, GarageBand) is a plus.

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

  • Detail-oriented with strong multitasking abilities.
