We are seeking a reliable, confident, and detail-oriented Event Liaison to serve as our on-site point of contact during weddings and other large-scale events. In this role, you will focus on client communication and maintaining overall awareness of the event. You will also support the Event Captain to ensure plans are executed smoothly, service standards are upheld, and any concerns are addressed promptly and professionally.

How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Review event details in advance to understand client expectations, timelines, and priorities
  • Attend event walk-throughs for larger-scale events and high-touch clients
  • Maintain a visible, professional, and approachable on-site presence as the primary contact for clients, venues, planners, and vendors
  • Support the Event Captain by maintaining a high-level view of the event and ensuring plans and service standards are followed
  • Remain on-site from staff arrival until released by the Event Captain, ensuring the event is running smoothly
  • Respond to client questions or concerns calmly and professionally, escalating operational matters when appropriate
  • Proactively identify and respond to issues as they arise, communicating with the appropriate team members to support resolution
  • Share relevant client feedback, observations, and post-event insights with the team

What You Bring to the Table:

  • 2+ years of experience in hospitality roles such as:
    • Catering or event coordination
    • Wedding or venue management
    • Hotel or banquet operations
    • Restaurant management
    • Captain or Floor Manager roles
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to remain adaptable and solutions-oriented under pressure
  • Highly observant, proactive, and detail-aware
  • Dependable, punctual, and flexible with weekend scheduling

The Details:

  • Work is primarily performed at event sites
  • Standing and walking for extended periods is required; may assist with physical event tasks and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Mostly weekends (Friday-Sunday), with variable hours; weekday walk-throughs may be scheduled as needed
