<strong>FLIGHT NURSE INCENTIVES<br><br></strong><ul><li>Starting Range $112,000-$116,000 annually</li><li>Schedule is a 10 days on/20 days off rotation</li><li>Company paid crew housing while on shift<br><br></li></ul>We’re hiring <strong>Flight Nurses</strong> to provide direct patient care in accordance with GMR protocols and/or medical direction. They also assist with coverage of open shifts as needed with the assigned area.<br><br><strong>Job Duties<br><br></strong><ul><li>Flight Nurses will assess each situation to determine the best course of action to support, monitor and treat patients in critical care situations</li><li>Utilize critical thinking skills to manage the critically ill or injured adult or pediatric patient and support physicians’ orders</li><li>Take pride in providing a safe, clean, and well-stocked aircraft environment, maintains regular equipment and base checks, and complies with safety standards and briefings</li><li>Work collaboratively and effectively communicates in a professional manner with air and ground teams, dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners</li><li>Share shift change info to transitioning team and follow protocols to maintain accurate company and regulatory documentation and records</li><li>Nurses are accountable to maintain required certifications and ongoing training required for the position<br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications<br><br></strong><strong>Experience:<br><br></strong><ul><li>Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in an emergency or critical care setting required</li><li>Flight experience preferred<br><br></li></ul><strong>Education<br><br></strong><ul><li>Current RN licensure in the states served by the assigned area required</li><li>EMT Certification in state(s) where required</li><li>AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP required prior to flight status. Will be required to obtain trauma certification within 6 months of hire</li><li>Advanced Certification (CEN, CCRN, CFRN) preferred, required within 12 months from date of hire</li><li>Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS preferred<br><br></li></ul><strong>Physical Demands<br><br></strong><ul><li>Must be willing to shave facial hair (if needed) to fit a N95 mask</li><li>Must possess the gross and fine motor skills necessary to sufficiently provide the full range of safe and effective patient care activities</li><li>Lift and/or move up to 150 pounds cumulative with assistance</li><li>Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distant vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus</li><li>Must be able to work a flexible work schedule<br><br></li></ul><strong>Why Choose Guardian Flight?</strong> As a leading provider of air medical services, management and experience in the air medical industry, Guardian Flight is one of Global Medical Response’s (GMR) family of solutions.
