Obtains services for repairs and maintenance of the facility’s equipment Ensures timely and accurate completion of reports and recordkeeping requirements Ensure all vendor work is completed, at budget, and verified prior to approval or sign-off Understand and drives budget requirements Key Responsibilities Conduct routine building walks across all assigned facilities to proactively identify repair needs, deferred maintenance, and safety concerns. Assess interior and exterior building conditions, dock equipment, HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical infrastructure, racking, life safety systems, and exterior conditions. Prioritize repair work based on operational impact and safety risk. Develop repair plans and escalate significant structural or capital concerns to the Facilities Manager. Maintain a rolling log of facility deficiencies and corrective action plans. 3PL Partnership & Safety Collaboration Serve as the primary facilities liaison to the 3PL leadership team Partner with TJX and 3PL operations to maintain safe working conditions and ensure building and regulatory compliance Identify, address, and resolve safety-related building issues (dock plates, lighting, trip hazards, guardrails, fire lanes, etc.) Participate in routine safety walks and collaborate with stakeholders to implement corrective actions Support OSHA compliance, fire/life safety standards, and applicable local codes Promote a culture of shared ownership and accountability for building safety, upkeep, and overall appearance Describe the kinds of decisions made by the incumbent (e.g., hire/fire, technical decisions, markdowns, merchandise pricing/selection).
