Job Summary

The Elite Job is actively hiring a Medical Coding Support Executive for a remote, work-from-home role. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in reviewing and organizing medical records and clinical documentation.

  • Support certified medical coders by preparing files and identifying missing information.

  • Ensure accurate assignment of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes under supervision.

  • Coordinate with healthcare providers and internal teams for data clarification.

  • Monitor data quality and flag discrepancies or incomplete records for correction.

  • Maintain confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA and related regulations.

  • Handle basic data entry tasks related to claims processing and billing workflows.

  • Generate reports and summaries for internal review as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.

  • Familiarity with ICD/CPT coding systems (training will be provided if needed).

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and web-based systems.

Experience
