Lead Business Analyst

<p><b>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Develop and maintain effective processes for managing requirements, enhancing business processes, and providing exceptional production support.</li><li>Lead and execute the design, analysis, and evaluation of various reports and resource documents.</li><li>Take ownership of the Business Requirement Documents process.</li><li>Analyze current systems, policies, and organizational processes and propose improvements and innovative solutions.</li><li>Implement process enhancements to boost customer service, operational efficiency, and quality.</li><li>Conduct statistical analyses to pinpoint and solve complex operational challenges, including escalated issues.</li><li>Design and implement evaluation processes to measure the effectiveness of current operations.</li><li>Oversee research and perform gap analyses to improve the effectiveness of operational documentation.</li><li>Act as a liaison between business operations and system teams for planning and executing programs and contractual changes.</li><li>Communicate status updates, risks, and issues to senior management and relevant stakeholders.</li><li>Collaborate with the Systems Analysis and Design Director to monitor business analysis activities and ensure proper execution.</li><li>Document all business requirements and processes thoroughly.</li><li>Lead collaborative efforts among project team members.</li><li>Facilitate efficient business meetings with internal and external stakeholders.</li><li>Advise project team members to resolve challenges effectively.</li><li>Provide support to senior staff, division managers, and program managers.</li><li>Craft high-quality communications tailored for clients.</li><li>Work efficiently with internal and external partners in delivering solutions.</li><li>Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all assigned programs and projects.</li><li>Lead and oversee all aspects of business analysis and requirements management.</li><li>Develop and maintain Business Requirement Documents (BRDs).</li><li>Analyze workflows, system interactions, and data tables.</li><li>Collaborate with Development teams and participate in solution reviews.</li><li>Conduct data analysis, defect investigations, and change impact analyses.</li><li>Track and manage non-system client requirements.</li><li>Support contract administration, service level agreements (SLAs), and scope control.</li><li>Lead stakeholder meetings and provide regular status reports.</li><li>Support implementation efforts and engage with clients on-site as necessary.</li></ul><p><b>Minimum Requirements:</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least 7 years of professional experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.</li></ul><p><b>Program Specific Requirements:</b></p><ul><li>Understanding of Medicaid provider backgrounds and their downstream impacts.</li><li>Experience in Health and Human Services.</li><li>3+ years of experience with Medicaid-related providers.</li><li>Proven experience in workflows, requirements documentation, change impact analysis, and defect investigation.</li></ul><p><b>Program Specific Preferences:</b></p><ul><li>Familiarity with Medicaid provider enrollment and credentialing.</li><li>Experience supporting MMIS implementations or enhancements.</li><li>Prior experience in consulting or multi-client programs.</li></ul><p><b>Work Arrangement & Travel:</b></p><ul><li>This position is remote within the U.S.</li><li>Travel is required for implementation periods, including weekly on-site presence.</li></ul><p>Maximus is an equal opportunity employer, evaluating qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, disability, veteran status, and other protected characteristics.</p><p>Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be in alignment with job duties and relevant work experience, with an annual salary range of $150,000.00 to $179,300.00.</p><p>Maximus provides reasonable accommodations during any phase of the employment process.
